Very helpful. Can recommend some of the signed cycle routes through the vineyards, great way of seeing the land, but take plenty of food and water with you. It can be particularly brutal if 'le mistral's is blowing hard.

A 20 minutes d'Avignon, 30 minutes du Ventoux et des Dentelles de Montmirail, entouré de vignobles prestigieux qui font sa réputation mondiale, Châteauneuf-du-Pape est un joli petit village perché qui mérite un détour "découverte" et dégustatif. Prévoyez une heure de visite et plus pour faire le tour des nombreuses caves et propriétés (sans oublier le porte-monnaie !!!).

Provided lots of pamphlets and helped us understood where to go for wine tastings. The women were helpful but didn't go out of their way to describe the options.
