A tuer ma chienne par manque de professionnalisme !!! Les études n' ont pas été assimiler !!! Malheur dans un foyer par incompétence !! Retour à l' école vétérinaire nécessaire ou fermeture ou licenciement pour inexpérience.....

Price-wise: very reasonable for those conscientious about the needs of their pets as being a priority.

VET TO AVOID IN CALAIS
I visited the Centre Veterinaire Curie at 139 boulevard Curie on 28 June 2016 to have the standard anti-tapeworm injection administered to comply with his Pet Passport to return to the UK. The vet, Dr Benoit Mottoul was showing a group of students around his clinic and administered the drug without weighing or checking my dog in any way. He spent less than a minute in the room with us.
I paid, in cash as credit card payments are not accepted, and left. Within a short time my dog, a staffordshire bull terrier who was nearly 11 but in excellent health and well cared for, was unwell. An hour after the injection I phoned the clinic and told them that he was panting and on the point of collapse and the receptionist told me this sometimes happened for a while after the injection and if it didn’t improve I could return with him after 4pm as the vet wouldn’t be back till then. This was at 10.30, an hour after the injection.
At 12.00 my dog died in the hotel we were staying at in nearby St Omer. He had had this injection on 5 previous occasions without any problem and on the morning of the appointment had been fed tinned food and only exercised on the lead so had no opportunity to ingest any toxic substance.
When I contacted the clinic to tell them he had died their only comment was that it was because he was old and this sometimes happened. My feeling is that there was something very wrong with the treatment and I will be having tests carried out to determine what went wrong.
In the meantime I would urge dog owners to avoid this clinic at all costs. There are many vets in Calais because of the Pet Passport scheme but please avoid this one.

He doesnt waste his time with crazy folk that treat their pets like toys.... He doesn't stand for ANY form of animal abuse!
As he puts it: "an animal is an animal; not a human child"

Friendly and knowledgeable vet Watched him handle a request by the customer before us to forge a treatment time (so they could take an earlier ferry) very professionally. Not cheap, but he was attending on a Sunday evening and helping us out hugely by doing so. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent vet cabable of properly caring for all sorts of animals all the while keeping the owner's personal circumstances in mind.
In short, Dr Mottoul is a true medical professional regarding animals....
Very up front and down to earth! (Some people may not appreciate this)
