Quite labyrinthine in places, but mostly well signed. A large hub with links to several metro lines as well as overground regional trains. Not all the platforms are up to the same quality.

Completely got lost couldn't find way out. Sortie sign for street I wanted wouldn't be at next cross roads underneath. Only a kind Parisian was my savior in this maze.

Huge station but very well structured. Easy to get around. Fun travelator in the middle.

Chatelet is somewhat like an "escape room" in the middle of Paris - to navigate there, one must solve the riddles hidden in the instructions. How can you go left and right over and over again only to be led back to the same place?
This station is in a constant process of renovation (I think that by now, February 2017, most of them are already over), which means you never know which part of the maze would be closed to you, or how long you'll have to walk in order to get somewhere that should have taken no more than 2 minutes overground.
Also, when you search for a specific exit - don't. This is one of the single stations in Paris in which I just go out whenever I can, because I never know how long it would take me to find the next exit... sad but true,

Part of the "Châtelet-Les Halles super hub", the whole metro station is a huge maze and it's very easy to get lost, especially since they're doing some work at the moment.
