Very bad experience here. Very high pressure upsell. Then we turned the car in and heard nothing. over a week later a couple random charges on our CC over a $1,500. We call and they say they had to replace the windshield. We rented a the smallest car they had. The windshield should only cost about $400 tops to replace. They don't give us any answers or information. We requested pictures of damage and explanation as to why they didn't inform us the next day when we turned it in. It was all very shady how this process worked. Proceed with caution when renting here.

A déconseiller ! Non seulement le temps d'attente pour récupérer la voiture réservée est un scandale mais l'agence est vraiment malhonnête sur l'état de retour des voitures. ça fait bientôt 3 mois que j'attends des explications sur une soit disant détérioration. J'ai recupéré une voiture en sale état, j'ai signalé tous les rayures, bosses non anotées dans le contrat et je découvre 15 jours après un débit non justifié sur mon compte. Malgré de multiples appels et relance de mails, le service de réclamation botte toujours en touche.

My rental car was not ready when I arrived. They could have just upgraded me for no additional cost but they tried to double the price of my original reservation by having me get a more expensive rental. I have rented quite a bit from europcar in the past but this will probably be the last time. The only positive is that the attendant that got my car ready was helpful and nice.

Picking up the car at Marseille train station was a nightmare, took me 1,5 hours: Bad signing, difficult to find the rental place. Man at desk was incredibly slow and not motivated to work. Finally my turn, had to fill out the whole sheet AGAIN (had already done it on the net). There was no drawing of the car and no registered damages in the contract. After asking he said I could come back to the desk if I found damages. Had to get the car alone in the garage, even though there was a "pickup-boy" hanging around the desk, mostly disturbing the employee. Found a long scratch across 2 doors. Luckily another Europecar-employee was in the garage and registered the damage in the contract. Tank was not all full, but I had no energy left to return to the desk yet another time.
All in all - a frustrating experience.

crazy rent car. they took my money without permisson after giving back the car. i sent e-mail, but no response yet.
go to hell for all this company members.
