The hotel confirmed in writing their error (attached). It has been almost 8 months since they have taken any action in response to this incident.

Good location, rates not too bad, room wasn't the cleanest lots of mold and dust and cleaning staff not really great at cleaning. Bizarre shorts policy for pool area yet no swimming cap required and no problem with photos and videos being taken in the pool area. Possibly let due to the amount of revenue being generated by the swimming trunk dispensing machine but sure who knows. Staff friendly but after six days still hadn't managed to clean the room or fix the safe. Pizza is nice but bar closes at 11pm,sharp, did I say sharp. Pool warm but water quality very, very questionable. No pool supervision and lots of people shooting g pictures and video from the poolside.

In September 2016 we had the misfortune of staying at Explorer and eat at one of their restaurant. There was broken glass in our dinner that I was having with my wife & two children (a toddler and a 2 year old).

A nice themed hotel. The pool and play area inside the hotel is great. Free shuttle bus to Disneyland is regular and easily accessible. The rooms are basic but tidy. There is no supermarket or shops close by so be prepared to have all you need with you and to eat at the hotel or Disneyland. Breakfast is included and has a good range. Even the machine made coffee isn't bad.

Stayed at this hotel on the night after a holiday to Disneyland and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Very close to rivalling Disney's very own offerings. Better breakfast, swimming pool and a lot to do inside
