Très bon accueil en demi-pension. Chambre impeccable, très bon dîner et copieux petit déjeuner servi avec beaucoup d'amabilité. A conseiller.

Charming small hotel in perfect location. The view is amazing from the castle hill right next to the hotel. The breakfast is good for 8,50, there is a parking space for two recidence infront of the hotel and the friendly staff speaks some english. Restaurants near by close at nine in the evening (in the autum)and the village quiets down at that.

Great little place right in the heart of town. The only comment I have is that our AC was off and sleeping with the open window was tad noisy since the window was facing the Main Street

Beynac is a perfectly charming town and the Hotel Pontet was a perfectly charming hotel. It is clean, the fixtures are modern and the location is perfect. It is a petite place, however. That is true for the rooms and for the breakfast area. That said, it should have more than one star, in my opinion.
Oh - and folks who reserve a room at the Hostellerie Mallville - this is the same place - don't ask me why they market under two names. Fortunately, everyone in town knows this and will send you up the hill to Pontet.

Very comfortabe. Quiet. Nice vathroom and shower. Beynac is wonderful to explore. Gourmet restaurants close by. Short drive to Sarlat and other castle towns. Close to prehistoric caves.
