Went for a drink here last night, one of the only two bars in the town only to be told they were closing. This was 19:45 on a Thursday night. Disappointing, fortunately we had bought some wine previously. Not very hospitable.

Service passable, pas un sourire.
Les prix sont au tarif parisien.
Quand on demande un thé on nous donne juste de quoi faire une tasse et je passe sur la lenteur du service.
Le cadre rattrape un peu le reste. ..

The food was really good, and the service was kind and fast. Why 3 star then? Lots of flies in summer. Not kidding... Lots and lots of flies inside the restaurant. Disgusting.

De passage à Chateauneuf, nous avons voulu retourner dans le restaurant que nous connaissions si bien il y a trois ans. À notre grand regret, tout à changer... Les verres de vin soit disant de 12cl n'en font que péniblement 10cl...les prix sont exagérés par rapport aux millésimes servis. Quant au service n'en parlons pas... Les locaux ont de quoi grignoter pour accompagner leur verre et nous "touristes" nous n'avons pas ce privilège. Bref, il y a trois ans, un endroit à découvrir, aujourd'hui à éviter a tout prix !

attention grosse arnaque double tarification non justifiée.Le café passe d 1.40 e le mardi à 2e le mercredi à la meme heure. Nous regrettons l'ancienne équipe. Dommage pour ce joli village

The food was just OK, but nothing more. But I also ordered a glass of red Ch Beaucastel, and I got it served in a very tiny white wine glass. I asked for getting a better glass, but got the answer that it's the only wine glass they have. And this from a place that calls itself a wine bar. What a joke!

I feel as if I need to offset some of the negativity here as we almost didn't stop - great salads and plat du jour, fantastic ambiance outside on a sunny day and friendly, relaxed service

We were very short on time, but thanks to the friendly staff and the innovative cook we had an excellent meal on our way home to Aix. Merci :)!

Stopped here in April 2017 for a light lunch. Quick and good food. Excellent vin ordinaire. Sat outside under an umbrella in mid-spring sunshine. Entirely pleasant way to spend an hour and a half in between a visit to Le Vieux Telegraph and Chanteperdrix- two of the many great local vineyards. What's not to like!
