Some texts are missing the English translation, but it is a great place!

Nearly hidden on a quiet square, you should definitely drop-in to see the collection when you take a tour of the Left Bank.

Small museum run by people who really really like Delacroix. However this is a great place to pick up Louvre tickets.

Very little of his art on display. Nice garden. Lovely neighborhood but very difficult to find his house/museum

A peaceful little museum with a garden. Perfect if you're tired of queueing for the more renowned galleries.

A stone's throw from Saint-Germain-des-Prés church, a little jewel box museum with a very pleasant garden.

This little gem of a museum is often overlooked by tourists. Lucky you. And the square it sits on is one of the prettiest in Paris.

Paris is a city, yes. And Saint-Germain is no small district. But time and again I’ve always stumbled upon quiet squares and enclaves that is both romantic and charming. One of it is Rue de Furstenberg which was an amazing hidden gem that is miles apart from the busy boulevard off the main street. Musée Delacroix is also located in this lovely square, celebrating Delacroix’s works from the romantic age. The museum was converted from the celebrated artist’s final residence. Delacroix’s most famous piece is the Liberty Leading the People (this piece is displayed at the Louvre-Lens) depicting the French Revolution with a woman symbolising liberty holding up the French tri-colour flag.

Nice little place mostly dedicated to artist's work. Little garden is absolutely quiet in the middle of rush hour. Enter for free with the same day Louvre tickets. Unless you are a real Delacruix connoisseur it won't take much time to visit. Almost nothing in English.
