Surprisingly, on the second day there turned out to be someone speaking english and he very quickly stamped my preliminary complaint form (not sure thought it went all the formal processes there, but hope at least will help me with my paperwork restoration).

I was pick pocketed and came to get a formal statement, so that I could further work when back home on restoring my documents.
NOBODY spoke English! Ok, I understand French are sometimes arrogant/ don't like speaking english... fine - how about Russian or Romanian (the other 2 languages i know).. of course not.. Come on, Paris is one of the touristic capitals of the world, you guys need to now at least a few extra languages!

Il y a quelques mois, je me suis rendue à ce commissariat pour déposer une plainte. Bien sûr, ils étaient débordés et j'ai dû y revenir. Néanmoins, j'y ai trouvé une écoute et l'agent de police qui m'a reçu à été très compatissant et sympathique.
