Although Taizé is in the simplest form is a "religious get away" you find out very quickly upon arrival it goes much, much further and deeper then that. For me it's all about the community, making friends, meeting people and truly realising there is hope for this world, as an agnostic I was welcomed with open arms.

Do not take your children to the services. They are not allowed.

These Saints would cry - if they heard that children are not allowed in church.

My favorite place,it's a paradise for me. :)

Saint/Pope John Paul, II- 2008- bestowed his love for Taize, he did not want to leave. Saint/Mother Teresa, Summer 1976 fell in love with the community, she returned that autumn for a second visit.

One of the nicest place on earth. Living in such a simple way and getting to know so many wonderful people with the same interests. You have to experience it yourselfs. It is unbelievable.

Many generations of my family, have made a pilgrimage to Taize. Today, August 27, 2017, the newest generation, my granddaughter, followed the families tradition/pilgrimage to Taize. My granddaughter and her parents received a surprise- They were told to leave.
