I needed a mountain bike for a few days while saying in Uzes. I was immediately attracted to Village Velo because of the English speaking feature - no misunderstandings! I communicated requirements by email and got fast responses. They were flexible and made sure the bike was ready on time. Unfortunately the unthinkable happened (not fault of Village Velo) and some repairs were required. Doug was very realistic with the cost of the remedy - it could have been a lot worse if the operator was just out for the Euros! Would thoroughly recommend.

Michael was very friendly and trustworthy. Great communications setting up our reservations. His bikes were in excellent condition and maintained well. Our ride to Pont du Gard was also improved by his advice about the route and places to stop and eat. Great experience!

Village Velo has a great selection of bicycle for hire, whether you are a hard-core roadie with a need for speed, or you just want a comfortable cruiser to doodle along the backroads in the beautiful countryside around Uzes. I rented a Trek 2000 with a compact double for 10 days. The rental included a saddlebag with a patch kit and basic tools, a speed/time/distance computer, and a lock. The compact double was great for hills as well as the flats, and the bike was well maintained. The owner is very helpful and friendly, and speaks French and English.
