Castle enclosing a small village, over a footbridge within Concarneau. The Ville Close is well-preserved with full ramparts, cobbled streets, and is filled with shops (mainly tat except for a good hat shop), artists' studios, a fishing museum (really worth a visit) and of course restaurants and ice-cream stores. At the entrance to the ville close there's a performance area under the ramparts that each summer hosts folk and other musicians - Micamac features most years. Recommended.

Amazing place. Really unique. We had a lovely meal and great day there. Well worth a visit

A nice place to be with many shops. We enjoyed the silence outside the primary holiday season - a must when visiting Concarneau :-)

A lovely place to spend time in. The garden in the middle is great when you just want to lay down with your friend. The shop are a bit above average in term of prices but it is a nice place to eat. You can us the small ferry behind the Ville Close to cross.

Malgré ce temps pluvieux, ça vaut le coup d'oeil, le centre ville est super sympa aussi
