Of particular note, and what was my trigger for writing this review, was that this was the first restaurant we found that had a salad of substantial size, like something we would expect in the United States. My wife ordered one of the salads as part of the menu, and the salad alone was enough for a meal, and was quite delicious.

Really friendly staff, very able to cater for GF (Sans gluten). Really delicious food, indoor and outdoor dining experience is very pleasant. Family friendly. Easily recommended to anyone who loves good food. The Banoffee is formidable!

The charcuterie assortment was also delightful. When I asked about one particular selection, the server provided me with a card for the purveyor. That was just one example of an extra touch that made the service above and beyond.

As the top rated resteraunt in Elne we had high expectations but overall the busy small eatery was nice but basic.

Both of our mains were slightly overcooked with the king prawns (Gambas) being tough, and the guinea fowl being slightly dry. Nothing too bad, but when playing the same price as at the other Elne resteraunt we were disappointed compared to there, especially for one less course.

Dining in France is consistently a pleasure - there are gems hidden everywhere. This restaurant is no exception. We had an excellent meal, and at a good price with the fixed menu.

Cuisine de région excellente et encadrée par un service passionné par son travail et dévoué. Remarquable !

Elne is a great town to visit, and when we return, we will certainly be back.
