Excellent municipal campsite old facilities but kept spotless. On arrival you ring warden who gives you the code for the barrier. St Gaultier pleasant but quiet. In August site virtually empty. If you have a large outfit do not leave by the exit it's quite tight use the entrance. Highly recommended as a
night halt, cheap as well

Außerhalb der Saison ein sehr ruhiger Camping, für Radfahrer/-reisende sehr günstig (€ 4.-/Nacht für 1 Person mit Rad, Zelt). Die Sanitären Einrichtungen sind einfach aber sehr sauber. Über den Platz verteilt stehen diverse Picnic-Tische. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Es gib keinen Laden oder Imbis auf dem Platz, jedoch sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß ins Ortszentrum, also kein Problem. Der Ort selbst ist fast schon sehenswert und bietet alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Der Platz liegt direkt an der örtlichen Liegewiese am Flussufer. Die alte Bahntrasse, die jetzt Radweg ist (V94) führt direkt durch Saint Gaultier. Auch für kleine Touren ist dieser bestens geeignet.
