Suite au vol de mon porte monnaie je me suis présenté au commissariat du 9ème arrondissement. J'était surpris en bien sur toute la ligne: accueil, temps d'attente raisonnable (15 min), professionnalisme.

Si vous avez besoin de déposer une proc pour voter, évitez d'y aller! Je me suis faite jeter avec une dizaine d'autres personnes! Il faut aller au tribunal rue Drouot. Le dire gentiment c'était en option non disponible!

Très mauvais accueil. My purse was stolen in the neighborhood and I have been trying to file a complaint for the past 3 days but they keep refusing to allow me to do this. And they will not give me any indication of when I will be able to. It is very frustrating as I need proof of filing a complaint in order to do all the other paperwork to replace the things that were stolen. I would suggest trying a different commissariat if you have any problems in Paris.
And it was completely unnecessary for them to tell me that "it is not our fault that your purse was stolen", "we have the right to go on holiday too", and also that "if you are unhappy you can write to the President".
Because, I did not accuse them of anything, crime occurs on holidays and weekends too, and as for writing to the President, perhaps I will, because as a taxpayer and Paris resident I am very disappointed about the way I was treated.
Lastly, watch out for that pré-plainte on-line thing – if you do it they can take as much time as they want to contact you but in the meantime you are barred from filing a complaint in person. If I ever have another problem I will just go (to a different commissariat, with some identity documents) in person and wait in line – at least then I will be sure of filing my complaint.
