Arrogance and bad service are the best adjectives to describe my experience at the Café du Port.
If you don't speak French very well be prepared to be corrected for your pronunciation. If you try to speak English with them, forget it, who cares if you are a tourist.
Italy is just one km distant from this coffee bar, but still Italian is hardly understood. Maybe the best way to ask for a coffe or a toilette, is using sing language, but even that might be refused with a snobbish behaviour. The quality of the coffee is one of the worst ever tried in France, same for the service. The general feeling is a total lack of attention to customer, especially being a foreigner tourist; as we were doing a favour to them by choosing their terrible service.
