It is a great option to start your tour through the city. There is free access to it. La poste is around the corner. A tourists affair office behind it. If you are considering to visit toulouse, don't consider it. Visit this city.

Beautiful building and lovely square, nice to just sit in and relax, easily accessible from the metro too.

- Don't miss the explanation and the tableau of the lovely story of "La Belle Paule" in the Salle des Illustres :)

Inside you will be greeted to awesome architecture and huge wall and ceiling paintings. Building dating back to the 1600's. Highly recommended!

Hidden in the back of the building and up some stairs you can view the "Salle des Illustres" which is a beautiful number of paintings and frescos. A definite hidden treasure in Toulouse (and free to the public).

Beautiful building and lovely square, nice to just sit in and relax, easily accessible from the metro too. Free to go in, entrance is from the Square in the middle of the building, just a quick bag check from a couple of guards and that’s it. Definitely recommend going in as the inside is beautiful like all other French Palaces.

Placed at the heart of the city, place has a worthy architecture outside. internals visit, although is not charged, should be improved. Tourist has very little and confused directions about artworks.

This is my first time to Europe, it is difficult to imagine this is the city hall rather than the museum, incredible

- Closed on Saturdays due to wedding celebrations.
